IDF soldiers found document detailing Hamas psychological warfare instructions against Israel, reveals Channel 12.
The document was found in a strategic location in the Gaza Strip, where Sinwar was hiding, and appears to have been written by a senior Hamas official.
The document mandates the continued release of photos and videos of the hostages, “because of the psychological pressure they create in Israel.” It is also mentioned that everything should be done to increase the psychological pressure on Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant.
In addition, it said that the narrative line according to which Benjamin Netanyahu is responsible for everything that happened from October 7 to the present day “must be maintained.” Hamas leaders also ask their men to discredit the Israeli narrative that ground operations are being used to return hostages. The mission of Hamas militants is to increase pressure around the hostage issue and “put a spoke” in Israel’s wheel of war in the Gaza Strip. The document also highlights social divisions among the Israeli public as something Hamas could play on.
