From the Emmys, to the Critics’ Choice Awards, to the BAFTA Tea Party in London, flowers were in the news. While floral patterns burst onto the red carpet of galas at the start of the year, we’re far from simple prints! Of course, floral dresses are beautiful for daytime or country events, but they are usually rarely seen at social events.

Rosamund Pike fell for this delicate and ultra-feminine dress by Simone Rocha. A transparent sea green creation, six of which form pink pockets, was placed over a peach slip dress.

Selena Gomez

Oscar de la Renta envisioned a dress for Selena Gomez with plant motifs instead of flowers. The deep red foliage dotting the creation gave a movement that responded to the Tiffany & Co. diamond necklace the singer wore around her neck.

Emily retardation

Emily Blunt looked flawless at the Critics’ Choice Awards. Armani’s private design, enhanced with flowers in the same material, was enhanced by these Tiffany & Co accessories.

Chris Perfetti added texture to his gray figure by wearing a guipure sweater under his Dolce & Gabbana jacket. The effect is very successful, especially with the sleeves that stick out slightly.

Canadian brand Greta Constantine appeals to stars looking for structured and flamboyant dresses. While in California to celebrate the Emmys and Critics’ Choice Awards, the brand’s designer Kirk Pickersgill received a key from the Canadian Consulate in Los Angeles. Both evenings had the opportunity to dress some of the actresses competing for the awards.

Moreover, Neesi Nash won the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series, Anthology or Film. The actress looked glamorously fabulous in a velvet mermaid dress, complete with taffeta ruffle, gloves.
