It might be the shortest month of the year, but February is already shaping up to be one of the most exciting times in the fashion calendar.
From capsule collections to must-see runways, these are the fashionable moments we have our eyes on this month.
Online retail behemoth The Iconic has unveiled an exclusive First Nations collection, featuring the work of three emerging brands: Pink Fish, Mirdah and Jarawi.
The collaboration stems from The Iconic x First Nations Fashion + Design (FNFD) Incubator Program, which was developed as part of the retailer’s commitment to fostering Indigenous talent in the fashion industry. During the nine-month course, which began in April 2023, the designers were immersed in a comprehensive curriculum designed to support the commercialization of their brands.
Selected designs from Myrrdah, Pink Fish and Jarawee are now available to buy at The Iconic.
Four-time Oscar-nominated actress Saoirse Ronan is the latest celebrity to join Louis Vuitton’s impressive roster of ambassadors.
It’s a fitting appointment for the 29-year-old, whose burgeoning relationship with House has seen her don Louis Vuitton on several occasions, including most recently at the Sundance Film Festival premiere of her latest film. The Outrun.
“I have admired Saoirse’s career for many years, I find her absolutely captivating in the roles she plays. And what’s more, behind her talent lies such a charming and brilliant person,” creative director Nicolas Ghesquière said of the ad.
Ronan joins other prestigious A-listers Emma Stone, Cate Blanchett, Sophie Turner, Chloe Grace Moretz, Zendaya and Hyeon Jung as House ambassadors.
With Paris Haute Couture week officially over, the fashion world was just a stone’s throw away from Saint-Paul-de-Vence, where Jacquemus presented his Spring 2024 show, ‘Les Sculptures’.
The brand’s signature bombshell-meets-avant-garde aesthetic received a distinctly modern makeover, with sculptural outerwear, oversized tailoring and boxy accessories abounding on the runway.
As usual, A-listers abounded, with Gigi Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski hitting the runway, while Julia Roberts, Jack Harlow and Kylie Jenner watched from the front row.
Boss has tapped a cast of internationally acclaimed A-listers to front their Spring Summer 2024 campaign, titled ‘The Choice is Yours.’
In a series of images, A-listers Suki Waterhouse, Gisele Bündchen, Adwoah Aboah, Lee Minho and Matteo Beratini model a collection of sartorial staples in a sophisticated color palette of muted neutrals.
The campaign also showcases impressive innovation, with Boss becoming the first fashion brand to use large-scale holographic technology to unveil part of a collection. The future has never been brighter.
