Eagle-eyed GTA fans see Red Dead Redemption 2 Easter Egg in GTA 6 trailer; Check out what it is

The GTA 6 trailer was released on December 5 and showcased the stunning world of GTA 6. It confirms that the game will indeed be set in Vice City, specifically in the Kingdom of Leonida. However, not much information is given about the story or the game in general. But that hasn’t stopped eagle-eyed GTA 6 fans from spotting tucked-away details and Easter eggs in the game. In fact, there’s an entire subreddit dedicated to exploring GTA 6. In a new discovery, GTA 6 fans have noticed a Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2) Easter Egg in the upcoming game’s trailer. Check out what it is.

GTA 6 Easter Egg Trailer

On the GTA 6 subreddit, user kammui07 posted details about a possible RDR2 Easter Egg in GTA 6. The GTA 6 trailer shows both characters, Lucia and an unnamed male character, robbing a convenience store called Uncle Jack’s Liquor. Before they enter the store, a poster of a man with a mustache appears in the store window. While this may just be a design element to enhance the store’s outdoor appeal, GTA 6 fans think otherwise. According to the subreddit post, the man with the mustache resembles Sidney Metcalfe, a criminal from RDR2 who was wanted dead or alive.

Sidney Metcalfe posters were present in RDR2 that read, “A liar and a thug, Sidney Metcalfe has violently robbed high stakes card games in many states.”

GTA 6: Features it can borrow from RDR2

GTA 6 is rumored to have some true next-gen mechanics never before seen in a video game, and may even borrow some features from Red Dead Redemption 2. Both protagonists are rumored to carry loot bags that allow them to store. Consumers and cash, just like Arthur Morgan’s briefcase in RDR2. Another identifying feature of Red Dead Redemption 2 that could make its way to GTA 6 could be the witness and police system. Like Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA 6 can also have fences, but instead of fencing horses and carts, players can fence vehicles as well as art.
