Different steps to upgrade PS5

The Last of Us Part II launches on PlayStation 5 with a remastered version available from January 19, 2024. The upgrade also offers graphical improvements, optimized use of the DualSense controller, and new content for a more immersive gaming experience.

For those who already own the game on PS4, it is possible to get The Last of Us Part II Remastered for less. While the new edition costs €50, owners of the original game can get the upgrade for just €10.

How to upgrade?

For those who own the game in the physical version, simply insert the disc into the PlayStation 5. Then, on the home screen, select The Last of Us Part II. You will find the PS5 Upgrade option on the right side of the screen. Just follow the instructions to access this section. For digital versions, go to Library, select the game and follow the steps to upgrade.

Important notes to remember

• If you upgrade with a disc, keep it and use it every game session.
• A digital edition of the remastered version also costs €50 for owners of the original game.
• For those who bought the game for €50 and already own The Last of Us Part II, Sony is offering a full refund, allowing them to benefit from a €10 upgrade.
