Since its launch in December 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 has gone through numerous mods on PC to improve its gaming experience, for graphic or aesthetic reasons. Now that the game has been out for three years, it has nothing to do with its original version and even got an expansion last September. While the game is optimized more than ever, players are adding their two cents by using graphics mods to make life in the night city more realistic.

last week, User NextGenDreams uploaded a video to YouTube showing Cyberpunk 2077 with 8K graphics, photorealistic rendering, no less, but mostly light work.. And suffice to say, the result is stunning, if not photorealistic.

To do this, Internet users use version 2.1 of the game which apparently has mods that take advantage of ray-tracing.. To provide such faithful rendering, it also uses DLSS 3.5 and eSTIR GI path tracing technology. To run all this, the player uses an Nvidia RTX 4090 graphics card, which explains such rendering. In terms of mods that make such a result possible, we first find the Nova LUT created by CyanideX, the second one called “Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project” by a certain HalkHogan and finally the Custom Photorealistic Reshade produced by Nextgen Dreams.
