Baldur’s Gate 3 players excited about the ability to return with patch #6

Baldur’s Gate 3 melee characters can rejoice after seeing the return of the highly anticipated ability with Patch #6.

Baldur’s Gate 3’s sixth major patch is already shaping up to be a hit, with many players enjoying its upcoming fixes for romance, honor mode, camp animations, and more.

Among the new features, an ability now seems to have been reactivated after being forgotten for far too long, and melee players are rejoicing.

Shield Bash returns in Patch 6 of Baldur’s Gate 3

On Reddit, user u/NeverJoe_420_ shared his discovery. He declared that ” The shield blow is back » Thanks for publishing by Larian Studios. The latter indicates that they were going to reactivate a previously malfunctioning ability.

Before patch 6, the powerful ability didn’t seem to work. Players across the community were confused. However, it looks like this powerful attack is about to make a comeback.

As soon as this was announced, the fans were happy. Many people have commented that this post has made them realize that this bug is in fact very widespread.

“ Finally! I thought I was going crazy for activating it over and over again, not really noticing anything happening » commented one user. Players are now hoping that they can deal with enemies with their shields as expected.

While many were excited, others warned players to be wary of enemies equipped with shields: “ Have fun! Until a shield-armored enemy hit me, knocking me down and turning the tide of battle in the enemy’s favor. It was a low blow of s**t “

Naturally, if the ability was broken for the player, it was probably bad for the enemies as well. So keep an eye out for when the sixth patch finally becomes available in Baldur’s Gate 3.
