Amber Heard has thanked her fans for their “amazing support” as ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ hit screens.
The 37-year-old star shared photos of herself on set, including a rare photo of her feeding her two-year-old daughter Unaag Paige in the back of a car.
She captioned the Instagram post: “After all this time, Aquaman 2 is here. Thank you to all my fans for their overwhelming support and love for returning to AQ. Thank you so much.”
Amber is returning as Mera alongside Jason Momoa’s eponymous character and previously admitted there was “tons of pressure” for the film to become a smash hit.
The ‘Rum Diary’ actress – who begins a new chapter in her career after her high-profile defamation trial against her ex-husband Johnny Depp in 2022 – previously admitted that while she is “honoured” to play a role in the DC Universe, she is independent. Enjoyed working on a “passion project” in the movie “In the Fire”.
Speaking to Deadline, Amber said: “These big franchises are under enormous pressure with millions and millions of dollars, and the settlement is part of trying to make the most successful thing possible. On the other hand, there is. A small independent film like ‘In the Fire’, a labor of art and love, does not have the same resources and therefore must compromise.
