Alabama has signed an agreement with Washington coach Kalen DeBoer to replace Nick Saban, a person with direct knowledge of the negotiations said Friday.
The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity. The talks were first reported by ESPN.
DeBoer, 49, is a former NAIA coach who led Washington to the national championship game in just his second season.
