After working on the Lord of the Rings trilogy, he will tackle the Minecraft film which should be released in 2025.

Video game adaptations are on the rise. After the success of Super Mario Bros. film In theaters, or even an HBO series The Last of Us, is another major title that will soon land on our screens. If we don’t know the story of the Minecraft movie yet, we already know a lot of details about the team in charge of the project.

If we have to wait until 2025 to find a Minecraft movie (filming started last November), we’ll be looking for another video game adaptation very soon. In April, the highly anticipated Fallout series will arrive on Prime Video or the Metal Gear Solid film that has yet to be announced for this year.

We can also think of the rumor surrounding a possible future Call of Duty film with Henry Cavill in the title role, but nothing has been confirmed on the subject yet….
