Adele will perform a series of 10 concerts in Munich next August. Offered for pre-sale on February 9, tickets are skyrocketing.
“Who can afford such prices?” A week after pre-sales opened for Adele’s concert this summer in Munich, and when the cheapest tickets sold out very quickly, fans are bitter. They vent their anger and frustration on social networks.
“Adele’s ticket price must be a joke… 300 euros for a back seat,” wrote one disappointed fan.
“Who can still afford these prices? It’s insane. Frankly, I can’t afford it and don’t want to. It’s a scam,” wrote another.
Adele’s concert generated such enthusiasm that despite the addition of 4 dates, bringing the number of concerts she will perform in the Bavarian capital to 10, over 270,000 people were in virtual queues at the start of pre-sales on 7 February. The open air arena in Munich, a venue specially built for the event, can accommodate around 80,000 spectators.
The price of the seats, which started at 74.90 euros – ranged between 274.90 euros and 419.90 euros, depending on the category, for the seats farthest from the stage (in fluorescent yellow on the map above). On the eventim.de website, which also sells tickets for the Adele concert, prices for a VIP seat reach 1,152.50 euros.

A strong inflation has been experienced in recent years, especially among international artists such as Beyonce or Madonna.However, the city of Munich is already wringing its hands thinking about the outcome of these 10 concerts. “Munich can host big events,” said the mayor of Munich. “We prove this every year during Oktoberfest or big fairs. The city looks forward to welcoming Adele concerts and fans from all over Europe”.
Adele will perform in Munich on August 2, 3, 9, 10, 14, 16, 23, 24, 30 and 31.
Adele, who performed in London’s Hyde Park in 2022, has not performed in continental Europe since 2016. This series of concerts, announced at the end of January, is therefore a real event for fans of the British singer.
