About fifteen duck products of the “La ferme au délice royal” brand and distributed in Intermarche stores are the subject of the recall by the authorities. If initially, botulinum danger was indicated, this is finally not the case, Wednesday February 14, BFMTV reports.

A hiccup. Around fifteen duck products under the brand “La ferme au délice royal” have been subject to a recall by authorities since Wednesday 14 February. The Ministry of Agriculture was keen to clarify if the sheet published by government site Rappel Conso mentioned “botulinum risk” on the part of the products in question, reports BFMTV. “Health authorities have this evening (Wednesday 14 February, editor’s note) changed consumer recall sheets for “La Firme au delis Royale” products, due to an error in the wording “botulism risk”.

“. And added: “This botulinum risk is therefore not proven.“

Originally, before being modified by the Ministry, the product was formulated by the recall company “La Firme au Delis Royale”.

A reminder remains though

If the Ministry of Agriculture insisted on revising its copy of the recall, the latter still remains unchanged. no”Labeling discrepancies“and”packagingt”, a “Manufacturing defects, waterproofing defects” is singled out.

Marketed in many French departments, and particularly in Intermarche stores, the batches affected by this recall are foie gras, duck confit or duck fat. Use by dates are between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2026.
