A man was stabbed in the neck with a “sharp object” after an alleged altercation at an immigration processing center on Randall’s Island in New York City Thursday afternoon, authorities said.

A New York Police Department public information officer confirmed the stabbing to Fox News Digital.
Police said officers were called to the processing center at 3:17 p.m. Thursday.
When they arrived, officers found a 24-year-old man with a stab wound to the neck, police confirmed.
Authorities said a “sharp object” was used to stab the man. They could not immediately confirm whether a knife was used during the altercation.
A photo obtained by Fox News Digital shows drops of blood on freshly fallen snow after the fight.
