A case of infectious tuberculosis was reported in the nursery school of Libourne in Gironde (Nouvelle Aquitaine). According to Le Figaro, the disease was found in a teacher. The Nouvelle-Aquitaine regional health agency indicated to BFMTV.com that a screening campaign will be launched by the Bordeaux Anti-Tuberculosis Center (CLAT), which is also responsible for investigating contact cases.
How is tuberculosis transmitted?
