DECRYPTION. Kovid-19: Lots of DNA in vaccines, cancer cases… Professor Raoult’s lies put under the microscope
On the social network, Professor Didier Raoult claims that the Covid-19 vaccines developed by Pfizer and Moderna contain very large amounts of DNA and may be responsible for certain cancers. Professor Antoine Flaholt, director of the Institute of Global Health at the University of Geneva and an epidemiologist, discusses the lies of microbiologists.
La Depeche du Midi: What do we know about the presence of DNA in vaccines?
Antoine Flaholt : DNA – or “deoxyribonucleic acid” – is a biological molecule. Today, many vaccines used worldwide contain DNA: this is the case of vaccines against smallpox or against chicken pox and shingles, which have been on the market for a long time. The latter has also been promoted since its inception by Professor Didier Rouault. To my knowledge, he has not expressed any particular concern about it since its inception many years ago.

Since its creation, numerous studies have shown that chickenpox vaccine DNA, for example, enters the nucleus of our cells after the vaccine is injected. This is a process that is now known.
Can you remember the difference between DNA and RNA?
The DNA found in our chromosomes is a kind of library of our genetic code. This programs the RNA molecules (ribonucleic acid, editor’s note), which are responsible for the production of proteins in our body. Messenger RNA is therefore the translation of DNA that allows the synthesis of proteins within our cells. As part of the Covid-19 vaccine, researchers have created so-called “plasmid DNA”, a piece of DNA that can encode proteins independently of chromosomes. The plasma DNA made for the Covid vaccine specifically produces messenger RNA*.
Is this presence of DNA or RNA in vaccines a health risk?
Covid-19 vaccines have been injected billions of times. Neither clinical trials nor vaccine vigilance have reported any specific risks associated with the presence of RNA in these vaccines. No more than DNA vaccines (used against chickenpox, smallpox or monkeypox).

Professor Raoult asserts that the RNA introduced into our bodies by vaccination against Covid-19 produces unknown proteins that can cause “an unexpected phenomenon of encephalopathy of the Creutzfeldt-Jakob type”… What perspective should be taken? Do they have these statements? ?
This is a bad trial! The argument invoking diseases like Creutzfeldt-Jakob encephalopathy seems particularly aimed at fearmongering. The messenger RNA found in some vaccines intended to fight Covid-19 is programmed to produce only one protein: the spike protein. Live attenuated vaccines or inactivated (killed) vaccines can potentially produce a large number of different proteins, but not vaccines using so-called messenger RNA technology.

Furthermore, we know that Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease is caused by contamination by prions (a type of protein naturally present in the body in its cellular form, editor’s note) which we want to believe without any scientific demonstration that they even exist. Produced by vaccines against Kovid-19.
Professor Raoult also supports that the so-called messenger RNA technology may be at the origin of certain forms of cancer (lymphomas, leukemia). Other opponents claim on social networks that this is the origin of “turbocancers”, a term often used on social networks. What do we know about this?
I have never heard of this term “turbo-cancer”, neither in the faculty of medicine nor in scientific conferences. However, some cancers have faster forms of progression. Regarding vaccines, I have studied the link between cancer and Covid-19 very extensively and we have published our results in the scientific literature. Even before vaccines were released, it was noted that severe forms of Covid-19 could be linked to an as yet undiagnosed underlying cancer. But you see here that if there is a causal relation, it will be the opposite.

It is not covid-19 that will cause cancer, but cancer, caused by the immune system, that will cause severe forms of covid. We have found no link between vaccines and cancer.

I don’t understand why Didier Raoult, a big promoter of the chickenpox vaccine, is attacking vaccines against Covid-19 today. Through his words, he casts doubt on these tremendous scientific advances that, according to the WHO, made it possible to save more than 20 million lives during the first year of their deployment alone, including 1.4 million in Europe alone.
