Where to find and capture the legendary Pal Jetragan in Palworld

Jetragan is one of four Legendary Pals currently available in Palworld that cannot breed. This makes it more difficult to detect, defeat and capture. Here’s what you need to know to make it happen.

As a legendary companion, Jetragan is incredibly powerful and has a unique design. Along with Necromus, Palladius, and Frostalian, capturing Jetragan should be a priority starting at level 45. However, reaching level 50 first will make the task much easier.

Frostalion is probably a good target to start with, before moving on to Jetragan. Save Necromus and Palladius for last, as they move around and fight together, greatly increasing the challenge. That said, with good preparation and a reliable pal by your side, catching all four is a relatively achievable task.

So here is all the information you need to add Jetragan to your paldex.

Like all legendary friends, Jetragan can only be found in a very specific location on the map. Head west to Obsidian Mountain, then to the far northwest tip of the island, as shown by the map marker below.

Since the area is extremely hot, you will need heat resistant armor to withstand the worst effects of the area.

How to Capture a Jetragan: Combat Tips

An Ice-type pal is an ideal choice against a Dragon-type pal like Jetragan. Another legendary, Frostallion, is the best option here if you have it. Failing that, Chillet and Ice Reptyro are good backup options.

Ultra Spheres are the only way to capture this strength pal, so be sure to stock up on as many as possible before heading into battle. Rocket launchers can be a little tricky to use effectively, but any weapon with a high damage range will work well.
