CMA CGM and Air France-KLM divorce in freight
The ship owner and the binational air carrier become competitors again.
The love affair between Air France-KLM and CMA CGM lasted less than two years. In May 2022, the tricolor king of binational air carriers and container ships announced that they would join forces in air freight. Specifically, companies can reserve capacity for their cargo on six CMA CGM cargo planes, six Air France-KLM cargo planes and 173 long-haul passenger planes of two historic airlines.
