Naafiri and Zed buffs, Leblanc nerfs, and more

The League of Legends patch 14.1B preview is now live, and the hotfix will introduce a fair number of changes to many champions and items. With Season 14 finally going live a few days ago, 14.1 created a lot of outliers that developers will now look to balance out with 14.1B.

Below is a list of all champions and items that will receive changes in League of Legends Patch 14.1B.

League of Legends Patch 14.1B Preview

Before moving on to the names, it is important to note here that Riot Games will first test the changes on the League of Legends PBE server. They will ship with the official 14.1B patch notes only after the updates are finalized.

1) Champion buffs

  • Corky
  • Israel
  • Lux (Crownguard)
  • Nafiri
  • Zac
  • Z

When talking about the Z and Nafiri buffs, the developers said:

“Zed was heavily reliant on Ravenous Hydra last season and took a big hit. Now that he’s back to being more of a single target, we’re looking at some buffs to bring him back to his normal power level.”

They continued to say:

“Even accounting for Nafiri’s players being wrong and Profane Hydra being a bit weaker, she still looks weak. Gives her a bit of a bump to perform more.”

2) Champion nerfs

  • Aphelios
  • Phys
  • Gwen
  • Kyle
  • LeBlanc
  • sang
  • Tariq
  • teams

When talking about champions in the Nerf list, Riot Games stated:

“These champions have benefited greatly from either stat swaps (usually not wasting money on a stat they don’t care much for + gained a stat they really like; usually health).”

3) System buffs

  • Essence River
  • Heartsteel
  • Hubris
  • The unholy hydra
  • Stridebreaker
  • Tiamat

4) System nerfs

  • collector
  • Rocketbelt (Hextech One)
  • in the storm
  • Titanic Hydra
  • Trailblazer

Overall, the developers are happy with how patch 14.1 has played out in League of Legends so far. With a complete overhaul of the item system and the introduction of new passives and gameplay mechanics, the new season has been quite a success.

Champions are also very balanced, but Riot will be rolling out more changes and updates in the coming days to fix the remaining issues. They mentioned that League of Legends patch 14.1B won’t fix all the issues, but will instead address the big outliers.
