Outside of the camp, water-type pals are a great way to deal with some of the game’s most formidable enemies as players look to add them to their collection.

Best Pals Eau from Palworld
Gobfin
- Element : Water
- Partner skills : Grumpy Shark – Turns towards the target enemy when called upon to attack them with the powerful Watergun skill. A player’s attack increases when he is on the team.
- task compatibility : Manual Labor Lv1, Transportation Lv1, Watering Lv2
While not as powerful as some of his friends on this list, Gobfin is extremely useful in combat thanks to his high-damage partner skill.
Additionally, it has excellent utility around camp, helping with multiple tasks, even at low levels. Although the gobfin will be replaced as your adventure progresses, it’s a great option for the first ten levels or so.

Perhaps the most beautiful pal dragon in palworld, Relaxaurus is a remarkably balanced water type that is definitely worth collecting as soon as possible. His partner skill transforms the player and his pet into a true war machine, raining down death from above.
Transport compatibility is great to have around camp to boost resource gathering, and watering is nice as an extra utility, even if it’s only Lv1.
Suzaku Aqua

Suzaku Aqua has an amazing design and is one of the few water-type flying mounts in the game. It provides the player with an excellent combat bonus, dealing extra water damage to any type of basic attack. He also does significant damage on his own, breaking many of his colleagues on the paldeck.

Although it has only one functional consistency, it is still very effective. Watering is a relatively rare trait at Lv3 and is worth getting if you’re having trouble keeping up with your companions’ dietary demands.
Surf

- Partner skills : Stealth Burrower – Can be used as a mount while swimming. When mounted, stamina is no longer reduced while traveling through water.

It may look like an inflatable pool toy, but Surfant is a solid water-type pal choice for the midgame. His partner skill, similar to other pals featured later in this list, prevents loss of stamina when traveling on water.

At the time of writing this article the best water-type pal is undoubtedly the Jormantide. His partner skill makes traversing the many bodies of water in the Palpagos Islands a breeze, and he is the only pal capable of water at Lv4, greatly improving the speed at which the player can farm food.
The Jormantide’s true strength comes from its strength in battle. The damage done is high, and Jormantide can quickly defeat most Fire-type pals in the game, especially in the late game where it becomes accessible.
