Fuego and Funky in Japan with Simafunk

“Fuego y funky en Japan,” the musician wrote on his official Facebook account, along with a video in which the country’s population can be seen dancing to the infectious rhythms of Cuba and his band’s interpretations.
According to the tour schedule, the artist’s next performance will take place on August 25 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; September 7 in Park City, United States; and the 15th of the following month in Jacksonville Beach, also in the same country.
In recent months, Funktastic has brought Simafunk to significant stages in other countries, including Canada, Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, Spain and Portugal.
The exclusive magazine Rolling Stone ranked the Cuban show among the most exciting shows of 2022 for the magnetism and energy that radiated on the stage.
“Whether playing in a small club or at a huge festival, Cimafunk runs from one side of the stage to the other, getting their fans excited and setting them in motion”, highlighted the publication.
From the Instagram social network, the Antillean artist thanked the magazine “Thank you for exposing me to my music, and thank you for supporting great artists and culture for so many years!”
His album El Elemento, nominated for a Grammy for Best Latin or Alternative Rock Album, has strongly influenced the sound landscape since 2021 and entered a selected list of the best 50 productions of the international phonographic industry.
Their extraordinary mix of sound and collaborations integrated the record into the best albums of that year, along with international exponents such as Adele, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, Myke Towers and C. Tangana.
