Actor and comedian Michael Rapaport revealed the stunning details of Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s 2000 wedding. In an interview with Andy Cohen on the program “Watch What Happens Live”, Rappaport said that at the party there was a wall of caviar available to the guests.
“I was at Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s wedding. He had a caviar wall. I still have some left”, said the actor, adding that the event was beautiful. “Billy Preston performed – there’s a huge amount”.
Rappaport and Pitt have been friends for many years and first worked together in the 1993 film “Love at Close Range.”
The wedding of Pitt and Jennifer took place on July 29, 2000 at a private estate in Malibu (California). The ceremony, held for approximately 200 guests, included 50,000 roses, tulips and other types of flowers, as well as a fireworks display and performances by various bands.
The event was attended by several celebrities, including Jennifer’s “Friends” co-stars Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox, who is still married to David Arquette.
The couple’s wedding reportedly cost US$1 million (about R$5 million currently). Five years later, they broke up after Pitt became involved with actress Angelina Jolie, his co-star in “Mr.” and Mrs. Smith”, whom he married in 2014 and divorced in 2016. Jennifer remarried in 2015 to actor and screenwriter Justin Theroux, her partner since 2011. However, the couple announced their separation in early 2018.
