Miley Cyrus produces single ‘Used to Be Young’

On 25 August, Miley Cyrus The song “Used to Be Young” will be released along with a video. In celebration of the song’s release, Miley will share stories from different chapters of her life on ABC’s “Endless Summer Vacation: Continued (Backyard Sessions)” special. The special airs Tuesday, August 24 from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM ET via ABC.
Revamping the version originally released on Disney+, the special now includes new interviews and new songs from the “Endless Summer Vacation” album, including the chart-topping hit “Flowers.”
“Used to Be Young” is Miley’s first release since her acclaimed Endless Summer Vacation album, which included the hit “Flowers” and 12 other tracks. A worldwide hit, “Flowers” spent 8 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 – a personal record for Miley. “Flowers” was #1 at US pop radio for 10 weeks, becoming the fastest track to reach that position in a decade. “Flowers” was streamed four billion times and was the fastest track in history to reach 500 million streams on Spotify. It is officially the UK’s longest running #1 track by a female solo artist.
Additionally, “Used to Be Young” was released just before the 10th anniversary of Miley Cyrus’ 3x platinum album, Bangerz (September). A landmark album, Bangerz included such popular hits as “Wrecking Ball,” “We Can’t Stop,” and “Adore You.”
