temporary investigation and exclusive mission

The Noxious Swamp event in Pokémon Go has a special quest called “Temporal Research: Noxious Swamp”. Completing this quest before the deadline, i.e. 20:00 local time on Tuesday, August 22, will reward players with various prizes, including a rare encounter with Jangmo-o, a 7th generation dragon-type Pokémon.
In addition to temporary research, players can also participate in exclusive field research for the event. These quests can be obtained by spinning PokéStops during the event and can be saved and completed even after the event ends. Some of the rewards for completing these quests include encounters with Dratini, Trapinch, Neubat, Grimer, Skrelp, Marini, and more.
During the Poison Swamp event, certain bonuses apply. Players can earn an additional free Raid Pass by spinning Gym Photo Discs, finding Team Go Rocket Balloons more often, and earning Double Candy per Capture. The event also results in an increase in the number of Poison and Dragon-type Pokémon such as Zubat, Venonat, Tentacool, Dratini, Surskit, Gulpin, Skorupi, Axue, Skrelp, Tyrunt, and Noibat.
Importantly, the Noxious Swamp event coincides with Go Fest 2023: New York City and includes the release of the shiny Skrelp and Dragalge. Raid bosses during the event include Turtonator in three-star raids. Some Pokémon can also be encountered in Shadow Raids, and Shadow Articuno is still available in five-star Shadow Raids on weekends.
Enjoy the Noxious Swamp event and make the most of these limited-time features in Pokémon Go!
