Darren Kent, ‘Game of Thrones’ actor, dies at 36

“It is with deep sadness that we must inform you that our dear friend and client Darren Kent passed away peacefully on Friday. His parents and best friend were by his side. Our thoughts and love are with his family during this difficult time,” reads a text posted on the agency’s official Twitter account.

Kent suffered from a skin condition in addition to osteoporosis and arthritis and therefore suffered from various health problems.

Born and raised in Essex, UK, he landed his first starring role in the 2008 horror film Evil Mirrors, starring Donald Sutherland; and gained his first major recognition in 2012 with his starring role in Sunshine Boy, which tells the story of a boy with a rare skin condition that he himself suffered from.
