I’m already Tracer canon in Overwatch 2
In early 2017, comedy-animation YouTube channel Mashed uploaded a music video for the song. No mercy, which is a parody of Blizzard Entertainment’s hero shooter. The melody, the work of The Living Tombstone in collaboration with BlackGryph0n and LittleJayneyCakes, quickly went viral and found its place among fans. As of this writing, it already has over 90 million views.
Although the song was already very popular in its own right, it got a second wind thanks to the parodies that appeared on TikTok and other social networks. Since then, the phrase “I’m already a Tracer” has become something of a meme in the community. While it seemed like the page had finally been turned, the melody was brought to the attention of the developers again thanks to a new reference.
When a user playing as Tracer kills an opposing player using the same character, the phrase “I’m already a Tracer” will be heard. Of course, this is the same as in the clip of YouTuber Mashed. The community reacted to this curious find with ridicule.
