First Annual Community Health Workers Forum in North Carolina

North Carolina, Raleigh – Under the theme “Community Health Workers Strengthen Community Health and Well-Being”, North Carolina will host the first inaugural Community Health Worker Forum.

Organized in partnership with Wake County Health and Human Services-HealthLit4Wake and LiveWell Wake, it will take place tomorrow, Saturday, August 12 at the Wake Commons Building, 4011 Carya Dr. Raleigh, from 9:00 to 15:00. :30 pm

The meeting aims to celebrate and expand the contributions of community health workers in promoting the health of communities.

“Under the slogan of this forum, we recognize the invaluable contribution that community health workers and activists are making to create a healthier and more sustainable society,” said Pilar Rocha Goldberg, President and CEO of El Centro Hispano.

“This forum provides a unique platform for sharing experiences, knowledge and stories that are the building blocks for building healthier communities,” Rocha Goldberg said in a press release.
