Drama, Mental Health and Human Rights invites young people to critically, creatively and purposefully explore topics such as existential pain, nostalgia, insanity, dementia, memory, forgetfulness, suicide, depression, loneliness. , fear and sadness that terribly affects millions of people.

These phenomena arising from mental health situations, both at the subjective-individual level, as well as at the community and global level, stem from social, cultural, political, economic and moral issues, therefore the vocation is aimed at involving three main functions. UNAM: teaching, research and dissemination.

The qualifying round of entries will be held from 31 August to 10 September by a jury of professionals with recognized authority in the performing arts and human rights, who will select the winning entry to be awarded during the Grand Final. from 30 FITU, September 10, 2023, creditor of the economic prize of 25 thousand pesos and its publication in the digital edition.

The work may be an individual or collective work and must have a first treatment of an unpublished work for street formats or alternative spaces; In addition, they will have to address a mental health topic, phenomenon, issue or situation and have an understanding of human rights, gender, a culture of peace and respect for diversity.
