Travis Scott to co-direct A24 film with renowned filmmakers

Thanks to the current climate of crisis in Hollywood due to the struggle of actors and writers, studios such as Universal, Sony Pictures, Lucasfilm, and platforms Netflix and HBO have decided to cancel their participation in Comic-Con 2023 in San Diego.
LA Comic Con sees this as an opportunity to return to its roots and focus on comics, reflecting the studio’s monopoly of the public. However, we can see some progress in series, movies and video games.
invincible
After a two-year wait, the animated series featuring The Invincibles produced a successful second season. The series was expected to deliver a solid season in 2021 full of action, humor and bloodshed.
Series creator Robert Kirkman said “This is a very complex program. It is a one hour animated series. There are many characters and scenes. We really have to figure out how to manage this production.”
The Amazon Prime series will premiere on November 3.
Additionally, the special episode Invincible: Advance to Atom Eve was presented, which tells the story of the heroine Atom Eve. Currently available on Amazon Prime.
Harley Quinn
Another animated series from the comics that made its first foray was the animated series Harley Quinn. The successful DC series has captivated adult audiences with its sexual humor and gore. In addition to turning Harley and Poison Ivy into a popular pairing for comic book lovers.
In the first look at the fourth season, we can see Harley joining the Batty-family to turn crime, but busy finding a balance between her old habits and the life of a superhero.
The good news is that it is just around the corner, with the first chapter being presented this very 27th July.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem
Nickelodeon and Paramount Pictures will present audiences with the first 20 minutes of the film TMNT: Mutant Mayhem.
The film’s co-director Jeff Rowe commented to Variety magazine:
“I believe that for us, artistically, it was a response to a 30 year trend in 3D CG animation moving towards photorealism and lighting and surreal textures. Then, a few years ago, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was successful, and thus demonstrated that a film could look like a conceptual work of art and be successful both critically and financially. That opened up a lot of doors and I think we kind of tried to take that balloon and run with it in the Mitchells, and I got into Tortugas Ninja: Kaos Mutants and tried to settle for even less. We decided that we wanted the film to come across as a conceptual artwork, and we wanted the conceptual artwork to feel distinctly human and not computer-generated.”,
But for those who weren’t at the convention, a new clip from the film, set to premiere in August, was presented.
