Forbes magazine had access to a statement where the modeling company created by Kardashian, Skims, announced that it received a financial contribution of US$270 million, led by asset manager Wellington Management, along with Greenox Capital Partners. That mark raised the company’s valuation to $4 billion.

In an interview with The New York Times, Kardashian’s business partner and Skims CEO Jens Grede revealed that the four-year-old company is on track to reach $750 million in sales this year, up from $500 million in 2022.

Kim Kardashian has turned her TV stardom into a ten-figure net worth, according to Forbes, which also states that the bulk of this equity comes from the businesswoman’s involvement in skims. The company’s investors include billionaires Stephen Mandel and Josh Kushner.

In addition to betting on Skims, Kardashian has also invested in her own private equity fund, the company co-founded by her and Carlyle Sammons, SKKKY Partners. The company wants to capitalize on Kardashian’s fame, with the fund intending to raise at least US$1 billion (about R5 billion).
