The actress’ response was also released: “Mrs. Jolie claims that the reasons for (Brad’s) actions are frivolous, malicious and part of a problematic pattern. Pitt alleges that he and Mrs. Jolie had a secret, unwritten, and implied contract to give true consent to the sale of his interests in the property, which is directly contrary to the written record.

Brad and Angelina were married for 12 years and have been separated since 2016.
