Three sources confirmed discussions on the vehicle, but neither Warner nor Legendary, co-responsible for the feature, have commented officially. Currently, the premiere of the film is scheduled for 2 November 2023,

The film from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures is set to release in 2021 as the long-awaited sequel to “Dune,” the winner of six Oscars.
The continuing big-screen epic adaptation of Frank Herbert’s critically acclaimed bestseller “Dune” brings back an all-star cast and newcomers, including Oscar-nominee Timothée Chalamet (“Wonka,” “Call Me By Your Name”); Zendaya (“Spider-Man: Homecoming,” “Malcolm & Mary,” “Euphoria” series); Rebecca Ferguson (“Mission: Impossible – Reckoning – Part 1”); Academy Award nominee Josh Brolin (“Avengers: Endgame,” “Milk”); Academy Award nominee Austin Butler (“Elvis,” “Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood”); Oscar nominee Florence Pugh (“Black Widow,” “Little Women”); Dave Bautista (“Guardians of the Galaxy” films, “Thor: Love and Thunder”); Academy Award winner Christopher Walken (“The Sniper,” “Hairspray”); Stephen McKinley Henderson (“The Boundary Between Us,” “Lady Bird”); and Léa Seydoux (James Bond franchise, “Crimes of the Future”). with Stellan Skarsgard (films “Mamma Mia!”, “Avengers: Age of Ultron”); Oscar-nominated Charlotte Rampling (“45 Years,” “Assassin’s Creed”); and Oscar winner Javier Bardem (“No Country for Old Men,” “Introducing Richards”).
The Dunes: Part Two Paul will explore the legendary journey of the Atreides, now with Chaney and Freeman, which may even lead Paul to war for revenge on the conspirators who destroyed his family, if necessary. Faced with a difficult choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he will do whatever it takes to escape the terrifying future that only he can see.
Denis Villeneuve directs The Dunes: Part Two He co-wrote it with Jon Spaihts from a screenplay based on the novel by Frank Herbert. The film is produced by Marie Parent, Calle Boyer, Villeneuve, Tanya Lapointe and Patrick McCormick. Executive producers Josh Grodd, Herbert W. Gaines, John Spahts, Thomas Tull, Brian Herbert, Byron Merritt, Kim Herbert, Kevin J. Anderson serves as creative consultant.
For the creative production team, Villeneuve brought together his award-winning collaborators from “Dune”: Oscar-winning cinematographer Greg Fraser; Oscar-winning production designer Patrice Vermette; Oscar-winning editor Joe Walker; Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor Paul Lambert; and Oscar-nominated costume designer Jacqueline West. Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer will once again compose the soundtrack.
The Dunes: Part Two It was filmed on location in Budapest, Abu Dhabi, Jordan and Italy. The film is scheduled to release in Brazil on November 2, 2023, by Warner Bros. pictures.
