Christopher Nolan seems to make good use of all that recorded material in the making of his movies – and it’s not without reason that “Oppenheimer” is three hours long. According to Emily Blunt and Matt Damon, the director left very little material in the edit.
“It doesn’t cut anything. From script stage to filming, nothing is left behind. “I didn’t know the process until I did it,” says Matt Damon, who plays Leslie Groves in the film.

Emily Blunt, who plays Kitty Oppenheimer in the plot, explains that “the set for Christopher Nolan’s film is the least chaotic set you’ll find in Hollywood. All the noise and distractions are left behind.”
It’s very rare to have great acting in such big movies, but that’s the case with all of Chris’s movies. Of course, this is not an accident. This is because he prioritizes the actors, knows what he wants from them and knows what he needs in each scene.
