Rihanna, Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are among the 2023 Emmy nominees; See the list

They are among us!
The organization of the Emmy Awards, the most important award in world television, released this Wednesday (12) the list of nominees for the 2023 edition.
One of the highlights was singer Rihanna, who received 5 nominations for her show at the Super Bowl halftime in February this year. It competes in technical categories such as Best Music Direction, Best Production Design in a Variety Special, and others.
In regards to the attractions that shone brightest on screen, this year’s big nominee was “Succession.” An absolute hit among audiences and critics, the Roy family drama was pure gold: it earned a total of 27 nominations, behind “The Last of Us”, “The White Lotus” and “Ted Lasso”, in that order.
If the series “The Idol” directed by and starring The Weeknd was indeed a failure, the same cannot be said about the music: Dad received nominations in the Best Technical Direction and Camera Work category for his performance at Sophie Stadium, broadcast on HBO.
Selena Gomez also starred in the special documentary “My Mind and Eye” for Apple TV+, which is competing for the award for Best Writing in a Non-Fiction Program. She also competes for the Best Cast trophy for “Only Murders in the Building”. Unfortunately, this time his name was yet to figure in the main categories.
Jenna Ortega is happy! She first received a nomination for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her work in Netflix’s “Wandinha”. You saw?
According to Variety, the ceremony for the delivery of the statues should no longer take place on September 18. Due to the Hollywood writers’ strike, the event could take place between November 2023 and January 2024. Broadcasters and academia are studying possible scenarios. were watching!
