After Viral success of “Lovezinho”, Trayce comes in with another hit promise! The singer is coming up with a release this Thursday (13th) “Slum”, The song is an official version of Rihanna’s smash hit “Umbrella”, produced by none other than Stargate and Tropkillaz.

The invitation to produce the song came from international producers Stargate, who have already produced several of Rihanna’s tracks. According to the duo, ever since they heard “Lavzinho”, they liked Treyas’ energy and collaborated with him to create a creative version of this great hit. Brazilian producers Lodz and Zay Gonzales of Tropicalaz were also present in the creative process of the new single.

“Treyas has a unique sound and she looks amazing. We are sure she can become a big star. We love spotting new talent early in their careers. “We’re glad we made this song and we can’t wait for people to hear it,” Stargate said in a statement. The idea is that the retelling will have features from the original, as well as Tracy’s identity.

For him, bringing out a version of Rihanna is a major achievement in his work, mainly because the international singer is one of his biggest artistic references. “It is an honor to launch this together with him. I admire his work a lot and he has undoubtedly brought magic to the music”, says the singer.

The song talks about the importance of valuing yourself and breaking free from toxic relationships. “In addition to the favela dances that I love, I send the message to the ‘former’ that we do not value women. So she screams for freedom and women empowerment”, concluded the artist. Trayce’s release also came with a clip, which features him heading to prom in style. Connect only:
