the new patch fixes several issues and makes it easier to progress in the game

Today Wednesday, Avalanche Studios released a new patch to solve problem in Hogwarts Legacy. The update addresses various issues that were affecting both the PC and console versions.
The new update mainly focuses on fixing issues with missions, but it also brings some performance optimizations for PC gamers. Additionally, the developer appears to have fixed issues that prevented access to purchased DLC items.

Hogwarts Legacy also fixed issues with facial animations in cutscenes, issues with ray tracing performance on PC, and made UI and localization adjustments. Additionally, Avalanche Studios fixed some display issues that occurred when using 32:9 monitors.

On-line
- Improved registration and monitoring of the network of player accounts.
- Fixed DLC related issues during pause menu and team menu.
- Fixed the issue with the inventory of the DLC flying mount that could disappear during a mission.
gameplay
- Fixed a crash issue when unlocking the bandit camp cage before starting the quest. The following issue has been resolved: HL-437.
- Fixed the issue of not being able to complete a mission during a specific conversation where Madam Kogawa was not at her desk. Resolves the following reported issue: HL-1173.
- Fixed avatar getting stuck between barrel and furnace when jumping or opening tool wheel.

Performance and connectivity were the focus on consoles
In regards to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, the fixes for the game focused on performance and connectivity issues. The vast majority of improvements were made to remove some crashes that could appear when starting broom racesstart dialogue scenes or enter specific areas of the game.
This week, publisher Warner Bros. Games announced that it was forced to once again delay the release of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the title. The game will debut on them on May 5 this year, while the Nintendo Switch-specific version is still scheduled to debut on July 25.
