Honkai: Star Rail – release date and time
We already know exactly when we can start playing the new HoYoverse: Honkai: Star Rail will depart on Wednesday, April 26 at 04:00 (Central European Time) and the pre-downloads will open a couple of days before, on Sunday, April 23.
This is the Honkai: Star Rail release date and time in different time zones:
- Mainland Spain and Central Europe: Wednesday April 26 at 4am (CEST)
- UK: Wednesday 26 April at 3am (BST)
- US east coast: Tuesday, April 25 at 10pm (EDT)
- central usa: Tuesday, April 25 at 9pm (CDT)
- US west coast: Tuesday, April 25 at 7pm (PDT)
- Australia: Wednesday April 26 at 2pm (AEST)
- Japan: Wednesday, April 26 at 11am (JST)
As a curiosity: April 26 is technically March 7 on the Chinese calendar, that date being the name of one of the Star Rail characters.

Honkai: Star Rail – pre-registration rewards
While you’re waiting for Honkai: Star Rail to come out, it’s not a bad idea to pre-register as you’ll receive some very cool rewards.
Most rewards are unlocked when enough people pre-register, so here are the Honkai: Star Rail pre-registration rewards:
- 500,000 pre-registrations – 50,000 Credits.
- 1 million pre-registrations – x3 Star Rail Passes.
- 2 million pre-registrations – Avatar (Welcome Pathfinder).
- 3.5 million pre-registrations – Serval, a 4-star character.
- 5 million pre-registrations – x15 Star Rail Passes.
50,000 Credits and two Star Rail Passes will be added to these amounts if all the game’s official social networks exceed the figure of 2.5 million followers.

It won’t hurt to have a free character and free Star Rail Passes to get more characters right at the start of your Astral Express journey. Keep in mind, of course, that they will be normal Passes, so you will not be able to use them in the limited-time event gachapon rolls.
