Although much of the cosplay are inspired by anime and manga, from time to time we see great interpretations that come out of the world of video games, as has happened with the perfect cosplay of Peachthe body capture model of Ashley Graham in Resident Evil 4 Remakewho has transformed into the heroine of the zombie game.
Sophie, whose online name is ‘Peach Milky’, has shared a cool Ashley Graham cosplay, where she tells us: “Resident Evil 4 Remake has gone on sale today“, “I can now tell you that I am Ashley Graham’s body capture model! I am very happy to be a part, even in the slightest, of a game that means so much to the fans! I’m looking forward to enjoying it myself for the first time“.
To clarify things, the body of the model milky peach was used as a reference for the rendering of Ashley in her normal attire and the clothes from the DLC. This is different from a ‘motion capture’ actor, who acts out the character’s actions for the development of a game.
However, Ashley Graham’s face in the game is based on Dutch Instagram model Ella Freya. Nonetheless, Resident Evil fans are praising Peach for her pretty Ashley cosplay, while congratulating her on her important contribution to the game.
If you’re not familiar with the story, In Resident Evil 4, US government agent Leon Scott Kennedy is sent to Spain to rescue Ashley from a mysterious cult known as Los Illuminados.
However, Leon’s mission to rescue the president’s daughter leads him to an unknown town where the rural population has been turned into zombie-like creatures by a mind-controlling parasite called Las Plagas. These horrifying events are part of a twisted plan to take over the world.
The original Resident Evil 4 was released in 2005 as a Nintendo GameCube exclusive, before being ported to other video game platforms years later.
Resident Evil 4 Remake, like previous remakes in the series, updates the classic survival horror game to today’s standards while staying true to the source material. Although the remake introduces changes from the original, most reviews consider that it maintains the elements that made it the most popular installment in the series.
