Whether you want to remain single or prefer to have it with another Sim, The Sims 4 presents you with the option of having a child of science. Of course, you should know that this option costs a few Simoleons.
Having a child of science in The Sims 4 is quite simple. You can do it by yourself, or choosing your partner in the game (or any other Sim with whom we have friendship).
To do this, open the phone and go to the Start menu. Among many other options, you will see that there is one that allows you have a child of science.
Two options are displayed: ”having a child of science as a bachelor”, either ”have a son of science with…”. Choose the one that best suits your situation or tastes in The Sims 4.
Be careful, you will not be able to have a child of science with another Sim unless you have the necessary friendship. It doesn’t matter if it’s your partner in the game, since it’s the friendship meter that’s important.
Once you choose the option you prefer, a hospital will collect your genetic information and proceed to generate that baby. The operation costs 1200 Simoleonsand with a little luck, you may have twins or even triplets.
By accepting the operation, your Sim will go to the hospital to pick up the baby. From now on it will be called a neonate, and you can start taking care of it and educating it until it is an adult.
Now, let’s imagine that our baby (or child of science) is old enough to leave the crib. it’s possible turn that crib into a toddler bed.
Yes indeed, not all cribs in The Sims 4 allow this conversion. Make sure this option is listed in the specifications of the crib you purchase. Otherwise, you won’t be able to do it.
If the cradle is compatible, you just have to select it with the cursor, and click on Update. Then choose the option ”Convert to toddler bed”, operation that costs 50 Simoleons and requires level 2 (at least) in Manual Skill.
At any time you can reverse the operation. In this way, your toddler bed will once again be a crib, but remember that you will have to pay 50 Simoleons again.
