Corsair goes to OLED in its new XENEON 27QHD240 monitor
Corsair’s new gaming monitor makes the leap to OLED panels with a 27-inch model with QHD resolution and 240 HZ refresh rate. We can extract all this data directly from your name: Corsair XENEON 27QHD240 OLED.
The panel uses the third generation of OLED panels with LG META technology and a set of microlenses that allow the brightness of each pixel to be increased above the usual values of OLED panels. In addition, it offers a 3-year guarantee of zero dead or burned pixels.
Offers compatibility with AMD FreeSync Premium and also with NVIDIA G-SYNC. Its response time is only 0.03 ms according to the company, and it reaches native contrast ratios of 1,500,000:1. Its QHD resolution is 2,560 x 1,440 pixels in 16:9 format.
In terms of connectivity, we have two HDMI 2.1, a DisplayPort 1.4 and a USB-C with DisplayPort, as well as four USB 3.1 type A as HUBs. Configuration values are managed from a dedicated joystick.
This monitor belongs to the company’s line of XENEON gaming monitors, just like the Corsair XENEON 32QHD165 that we reviewed. The XENEON 27QHD240 OLED will hit the market in May 2023, but at the moment we do not know its price. They will show more details at the PAX East event.
