sony has revealed the price and bonuses for buying in advance the new DLC of Horizon Forbidden West.
Horizon Forbidden West received positive reviews upon its release last year, and developer Guerrilla Games announced new DLC for the game at The Game Awards event in December 2022.
Sony released the DLC, The Frozen Wilds, for Horizon Zero Dawn in 2017, so it’s no surprise that its sequel is also getting an expansion. However, little has been revealed about the new DLC of Burning Shoresand its release date has only been confirmed for April 19.
Now, Sony has announced the Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores pre-purchase bonuses, along with their final price.
Sony confirms that anyone who pre-purchases Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores will receive as bonuses the Blacktide Dye Outfit and the Blacktide Sharpshot Bow. Fans can check out the outfit and weapon in the trailer, and both will be available from in-game merchants when Burning Shores releases.
PlayStation also reveals that the Burning Shores DLC story picks up right after the end of Horizon Forbidden West, and players will need to finish the base game’s main quest to access the expansion. Aloy will then travel to a dangerous region where she will meet new characters and face new machines.
Burning Shores pre-orders start today, and it’s been confirmed that its price will be the equivalent of $19.99 dollars American people.
Guerrilla Games also mentions that it will share more details about Burning Shores in the near future. With only a month left until its release, it will be interesting to see until when Sony will reveal everything about the new DLC, Burning Shores.
