Known for being one of the largest cities in Latin America, São Paulo celebrates its 469th anniversary this Wednesday, the 25th, and, over the years, it has received several illustrious visits, including international celebrities. Remember below famous people who have passed through the city and got to know its sights.
In June 2022, the cast of the series The Boys was in São Paulo for a closed event, in which they participated in a red carpet and also showed the last episode of the third season in advance. Despite all the tasks, they managed to find some time to get to know the city.
They decided to visit Beco do Batman, a tourist spot in Vila Madalena. They met several fans and took pictures with them at the venue. On the same night, they also visited the Allianz Parque stadium, to watch a Palmeiras game, and even wore the shirt of the São Paulo team to watch the match.
In the same month, Joseph Quinn and Jamie Campbell Bowerseries duo Stranger Thingswere in Brazil and even had an interview with Gil do Vigorparticipant of the 21st edition of the Big Brother Brazil. In their free time, the two took the opportunity to walk around the city of São Paulo and decided to visit Avenida Paulista, the Galeria do Rock and even watched a São Paulo game at Estádio do Morumbi.
In September of the same year, the singer Dua Lipa passed through São Paulo and toured the city before performing in the Anhembi District. The British woman visited the Instituto Bardi, where the Casa de Vidro Lina Bo Bardi is located, in the Morumbi neighborhood, in the south of the capital. In the middle of the tour, she even decided to get to know Brazilian cuisine and ate brigadeiros and cheese bread.
A few years earlier, the singer Katy Perry passed through the city. In 2018, she met with notable figures from Brazil such as Gretchen and dani pepperoni, and even visited two museums in São Paulo, both in Ibirapuera Park. The artist visited Afro-Brasil for approximately an hour and a half and then, she went to the MAC (Museum of Contemporary Art), and posed for photos.
