Will Chelsea be Cristiano Ronaldo’s new team?

Cristiano Ronaldo is close to being signed by Chelsea, according to reports from the European media, especially the Portuguese. They put CR7 in London after forcibly ending their relationship with Manchester United.

A Bola, a Portuguese sports newspaper, reported that Cristiano Ronaldo is close to joining Chelsea. Media such as Sky Sports from England have also replicated the information they put in relation to Cristiano and Chelsea.

“Cristiano Ronaldo could be set for an instant return to the Premier League with Chelsea set to make a transfer U-turn,” Sky Sports reported on the matter.

Manchester United announced on Tuesday 22 November that Cristiano Ronaldo would leave the English club “with immediate effect” and “by mutual agreement”.

The British team thanked in a statement published on social networks the “immense contribution” that the footballer has made during the two periods of his career in which he has played at Old Trafford.

Cristiano’s situation at Manchester United was untenable after the incendiary interview he gave Piers Morgan a few days ago, in which he attacked all levels of the club, including teammates, coaches and board.

The club took legal action against him, contacted lawyers to see how to resolve the situation and assured, in a brief statement, that it had taken “the first steps” to respond to the Portuguese’s interview.

In this piece, Cristiano said that the owners only thought about money, that he had no respect for Erik Ten Hag and that the club had betrayed him and had not empathized with him with the death of his son, in addition to having doubted his reasons for being absent from the preseason, according to what the player himself explained, because his three-month-old daughter was hospitalized.
