the crimes of the academy

Story set in 1830 about a veteran detective, Augustus Landor, who tries to solve murders committed at West Point with the help of a young cadet who would later be known to the world as Edgar Allan Poe. It is based on a 2006 novel written by Louis Bayard and is written, directed, and produced by Scott Cooper. Premieres on January 6.
