On a beach in Qatar, authorities ask Mariazel not to wear a bikini

MEXICO CITY, December 3 (EL UNIVERSAL).- The host of “Me caigo de risa”, Mariazel, traveled to Qatar to witness the most important sporting event of the year, for which she has shared special moments with her followers while walking by the World Cup headquarters, however, on this occasion he uploaded to his social networks a “strange” experience that he lived when visiting one of the beaches of the Arab country.

Previously, in the media, it had already been made known that due to the religion professed in that region (Islam) there are some rules and dress codes for its inhabitants and although foreigners do not follow them “to the letter “Well, they can wear shorts, skirts and dresses below the knees, it seems that this only works in places where there is a soccer party atmosphere, since in the middle of the beach they asked the famous woman to cover her body due to who was wearing a bikini.

Through instastories, the presenter shared the anecdote she had with the Qatari authorities.

It all started when Mariazel arrived at Simaisma Al-Khor, one of the closest places to her hotel. Mariazel showed surprise that the beach was deserted and even invited fans to visit the area.

Although she was initially wearing a black dress, in later clips she was seen wearing a black two-piece swimsuit.

A few moments later he said: “I did not record at the moment out of respect for the officials, but it is the first time and you have seen that I have been able to walk in shorts and that tourists walk as they want, especially in the area where there is more atmosphere World Cup, walking around Qatar”.

Later, she explained that an officer approached in a friendly manner to inform her and her travel companion that the suit could not be used in that place and asked them to get dressed, before this, the women obeyed and the policeman withdrew: “Weird but That’s how the rules are,” he said.

Minutes later, he assured that the police action made a lot of sense, since it is a local beach, while the rest of the visitors were only in the tourist area.

“It’s strange that they come up and tell you that you can’t wear a bathing suit on the beach,” he added, also reflecting on the freedom of clothing that exists in countries like Mexico.

“They are the rules and you have to abide by them and also value the freedom we have at least in that sense,” he concluded.
