The Colombian forward of Rayo Vallecano, Radamel Falcao Garciamissed the last two games against Cádiz and Sevilla due to a muscle injury, is available for the duel against Real Madrid on Monday after completing the last two training sessions without problems with his teammates.
The Falcao’s return is important for his coach, Andoni Iraola, who faced the last match against Sevilla with only one cash for the attacking tip due to his injury and the suspension of his teammate Randy Ntekawho will not be available against Real Madrid for that reason either.
Despite his availability, Falcao will probably not start in Vallecas against Real Madrid and it will be his teammate Sergio Camello who will lead Rayo’s attack in the derby. Falcao has played six times (four with Atlético de Madrid and two with Rayo) against Real Madrid throughout his sporting careerbut only on one occasion did he celebrate a triumph.
It was in the final of the Copa del Rey played on May 17, 2013, when he won the match played 1-2 with Atlético at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. Last season, with Rayo, he lost both games although in the first, on November 6, 2021, he scored the only goal for his team (2-1) in the match.
