Roman Reigns is removed from the WWE Money in The Bank poster

WWE has updated the official poster for Money in The Bank, the Premium Live Event that will take place on July 3 in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the same way that happened with the Hell in a Cell poster, Roman Reigns has been removed and his place in the center position has been taken by Cody Rhodes.

This change may have occurred as a result of the show’s change of venue. As we reported last night, poor sales for Money in The Bank at the 65,000-capacity Allegiant Stadium caused the company to change venues and decide to hold the show at a smaller venue, in this case the MGM Grand Arena ( 15,000 viewers). Roman Reigns was one of the main claims for WWE to fill such a large stadium, so it is likely that his appearance now is not as important for the company.

Reigns will reduce his schedule in the coming months, although it is also true that he has been reinstated on some cards in July and August, possibly to cover the losses of Sasha Banks and Naomi.

Brock Lesnar is also not scheduled

Another of the talents that were on the original poster was Brock Lensarwho does not appear in the current image. WWE has also removed him from promotion rosters at the new pavilion. charlotte flair has also been excluded. She will soon marry Andrade and she is expected to be away for several weeks for her honeymoon.

WWE Money in the Bank 2022 will take place on Saturday, July 2 from MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will coincide in date and time with one of the main UFC shows, so a change of day to the following Sunday is not ruled out. Fans will be able to use their already purchased ticket to enter a pre-sale at the new venue. The official announcement of the event billboard is expected in the coming weeks.
