Mustafa Ali: I did what I had to do”

The fighter of the cast of Monday Night Raw, Mustafa Ali was invited to the podcast After The Bell with Corey Graves and talked about different topics, but he focused his participation on how he has aired his problems with WWE publicly.

“I think private conversations are meant to be private. The reason it went public is because that private conversation went nowhere.”

“So anyone who really knows me, and I know some of the audience said, ‘How unprofessional,’ but anyone who has ever worked with me or treated me like a human being You know how much I love this place, how much, how much I love sports entertainment, and how much I love wrestling. This is the only thing I want to do.”

“For me, even getting to that point, that’s the problem. Everyone is judging the action. They are not judging the intent behind the action. Corey, you know me. Imagine how much it would cost me to try to leave. So I think that’s the conversation. That’s the hot topic. There are situations that I cannot discuss publicly, but that’s what I’d like to say about the whole thing. The only reason it got to that point was because there was no other option.”

“It’s amazing the things you’ll do when you’re up against the wall and you’re struggling to survive. I wouldn’t have done something unless I believed in it, I still stand by that choice. I did what I have to do”.

Mustafa Ali returned to WWE television shows on May 2, 2022, on that Monday’s broadcast of WWE Raw. After a disappearance of cameras of almost 6 months. During that time, Ali had requested the release of his contract, but the company did not accept and maintained a tense relationship that was manifested in several messages on his social networks.
