MADRID, May 26. (CultureLeisure) –
Marvel Studios has published the Thor: Love and Thunder new trailerwhich takes fans to an amazing travel through the cosmos Y reveals Gorr’s appearance, the fearsome villain played by Christian Bale. But, in addition to this, the advance also could hint at the death of Chris Hemswhorth’s characterthe protagonist.
the trailer it starts with korg telling the story of Thorfocusing on the Asgardian hero’s mission on Earth and how he got back in shape after the deteriorated image which he showed in Avengers: Endgame.
Nevertheless, Korg tells all this in the past tense, which gives indications that Thor is no longer at the time his adventures are recounted. As this opening scene of the trailer does not have any context, it is difficult to determine at what moment in the film it could be framedbut the death of the protagonist from Thor: Love and Thunder wouldn’t be such a surprise either considering he has to face Gorr, the butcher of gods.
The villain of the new Marvel film, whose appearance is revealed halfway through the preview, seek in Thor: Love and Thunder take revenge on the gods. And one possibility is that Thor sacrifices himself to stop Gorr. and thus save others, including Jane Foster (Natalie Portman)his ex-girlfriend and the love of his life.
It should also be noted that a literal death is not the only way to achieve this. Perhaps Thorr will give up his freedom or his powers to defeat Christian Bale’s Gorr, what I would leave him momentarily out of the UCM Y would allow Jane to be Mighty Thor without having to share the identity with the character played by Chris Hemsworth.
This could be one good marvel strategy for develop other newer heroessomething they are working on, without totally eliminating Thor from the franchise. Also, it doesn’t seem like the House of Ideas has any intention of reuniting the Avengers anytime soon, either.
In addition to the aforementioned Chris Hemswhorth, Natalie Portman or Christian Baletape directed by Taika Waititi features the return of Tessa Thompson as Valkyria, Jamie Alexander as Lady Sif, Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, Karen Gillian as Nebula, and Pom Klementieff as Mantis.
They are also confirmed in Thor: Love and Thunder –which will see the light next July 8— cameos by Sam Neill as the false Odin, Melissa McCarthy as the false Hela, Matt Damon as the false Loki, and Luke Hemsworth as the false Thor, and the addition of Russell Crowe as Zeus himself.
