Lovers of TV series remember him very well in Shades of Blue right next to Jennifer Lopez but surely Ray Liotta wasn’t just tough Matt Wozniak. The actor passed away at the age of 67 in his sleep Wednesday night while he was in his hotel room in the Dominican Republic where he was shooting his new film, Dangerous Waters.
Filming had started a week ago and alongside the actor there was also his girlfriend Jacy Nittolo. At the moment no further details are known about the causes of the death of Ray Liotta but what is certain is that in these hours the actor has been overwhelmed by the affection of fans and colleagues who remember him in the role of Henry Hill in Those good guys and not only.
He also joins them Jennifer Lopez that with Ray Liotta he shared over two years on the set of the TV series Shades of Blues. Just a little while ago Lopez posted a photo alongside the actor remembering his rude look but, at the same time, his being sweet and cute with his children: “Ray was my accomplice in Shades of Blue … the first thing what comes to mind is that he was so kind to my kids… We shared some intense moments on set over those three years! When I first heard that he had taken the job in Shades of Blue, I was thrilled and the first time we walked into the set to do our first scene together there was an electric spark and mutual respect and we both knew that would have been nice. . We enjoyed shooting scenes together and I felt lucky to have him there to work with and learn from… We missed a big one today… RIP RAY ”.
Same thing for another actress who shared the scenes with Ray Liotta, Lorraine Bracco. Here is his message:
I am utterly shattered to hear this terrible news about my Ray.
I can be anywhere in the world & people will come up & tell me their favorite movie is Goodfellas. Then they always ask what was the best part of making that movie. My response has always been the same… Ray Liotta. pic.twitter.com/3gNjJFTAne
