Jodie Comer in new security fear after “weird” fan carrying flowers waited for her outside the theater

JODIE COMER is at the center of another security scare involving a fan.

An admirer who previously sounded an alarm outside the West End theater where she is on stage has returned.

Last year Jodie was targeted with death threats by a stalker in France

It follows an incident last year in which Jodie – Villanelle in the BBC spy thriller Killing Eve – was targeted with death threats by a stalker in France.

That suspect, who had threatened to “create carnage”, was arrested.

There is no suggestion that it is the same man.

The Sun on Sunday reported last month that people who had gathered outside London’s Harold Pinter Theater reported “worrying” behavior to security personnel.

They said a man, who appeared to be in his forties, wearing a suit and carrying a bouquet of flowers for Jodie, was causing concern.

The CCTV footage of the theater, where Jodie appears in Prima Facie, was reviewed.

But sources said fans of the Bafta-winning actress again spotted the man acting “odd” outside the stage door after last Saturday night’s performance.

They then reported it to the theater security staff.

One said: “The man was elegantly dressed in a blue shirt, with a sweater over his shoulders.

“He looked like he was trying to act casually, but he kept moving.

“First it was across the street, then it moved one way and then the other.

“It seemed he didn’t want too many people to notice he was there.

“That night, Jodie went out and got straight into her car.

“But some of his die-hard fans recognized him and pointed him out to security.

“They identified him as the same man who raised concerns earlier.

“The staff recorded their warning and told them that Jodie will not stop to greet fans outside the stage door right now.

“They insisted that his safety is paramount.”

He might be right.

The intimate venue, with a capacity of just over 300 people, was packed.

But the self-deprecating humor and charming interactions of Grammy-nominated Madison made you feel like you were the only person in the room.

This rising star stunned the crowd in silence with the song Life According to Raechel.
